Looking to model for the site? well here are some requirements for you. You can email me at  info@thefemalecanvas.com for consideration to be put on the list for upcoming shoots.

Number one, please go through the site and look at the images to see how we shoot and what we are looking for. Most images are implied nudity as a main theme of the site is ‘the bare essentials’ just the woman and her ink. Full nudity is never required to be featured on the site and if you have great ink work the implied may even be waived.

1. Goes without saying you have to have a tattoo or two (finished please).

2. Also goes without saying you have to be female.

3. Yes you have to be over 18 and present a valid DL or ID to be photo copied.

4. Must be ok with signing a model release for full use of images.

The short session.

This if basically for being featured on the public side of the site you see now. Typically one maybe two background used for a black and white and a color image and maybe a couple close up shots of the work. session is maybe 15-30 mins. One image we hope to be implied nude (for the bare essentials collection) You get a few facebook sized images and discount on any prints you wish.

The long session.

This is shooting for the above images, but going longer to get a more variety for the private side gallery. Tasteful nudity is typically done in this session as well as other outfit based. Session runs at least an hour sometimes a little longer, never more than 2 hours.You get facebook images and a couple prints of your choosing. Also welcome to do a idea of your own. These sessions are mostly done after a short session to see how things go and take a bit more planning.

All models are part of the print program. Prints are sold from the website for collectors and you would get 20% of the print sales from your images. If you are chosen for the calendar, you get a copy at cost (working to make them free but have to sell alot) and if you want more to sell on your own you can get them at a discount.

All Models will also get free membership.
